Posibilities with Schwabengitter® Ontop

Fast, Flexible, Incomplicated!

Schwabengitter® Ontop is a new product introduction to the „Schwab family“ of grass or gravel paving solutions. It is simpl laid onto the grass surface and is ready to be used. Schwabengitter® Ontop holds its shape and strength and is able to support light traffic on firm ground. As it is only 2.5 cm thick, it can be almost invisible. It can be applied onto newly laid areas or onto the top of grassed surfaces. As Schwabengitter® Ontop units are getting wider at the bottom side, turf is protected from loads and can extend to excellent growth.

As it needs no substructure and excavation, Schwabengitter® Ontop can be laid very easily by any person. Due to its unique design, it provides a visually pleasant and stable surface which can be extended or varied according to specific requirements.

Furthermore it is a very cost effective and attractive way to border grassed areas. The grassed area needs to be mowed, levelled and fertilized before it can be laid with Schwabengitter® Ontop. During the first week, Schwabengitter® will sink into the soil and become almost invisible.

Schwabengitter® Ontop units have been used especially for infrequently used parking areas with less traffic, e.g. golf and camping sites. Places where occasionally events take place, can be laid with Schwabengitter® Ontop as well.

Schwabengitter® Ontop used in connection with gravel grassed areas is ideal. No mud in bad weather conditions, no hurling stones when grass is mowed. Furthermore the gravel grassed substructure is durable enough to absorb heavy loads.

Schwabengitter® Ontop is made of pure recycled polyethylene, like Schwabengitter® 2000. Hence it is environmetally-friendly.

Schwabengitter® Ontop units are very thin, more than 90 % of the area remains green and water can sink easily into the soil.

Schwabengitter® Ontop is viscous and flexible. It cannot break or splinter when it is exposed to heavy loads or frost. As it is very flexible, tensions can be absorbed easily and units fi t extremely well together, even gradients can be easily laid. White marker caps with the size of a single cell are available to identify areas such as parking bays and routes. These square inserts clip into the top of paver cells.

The size of Schwabengitter® Ontop units is 1 sqm (an „Euro-pallet“ is 80 sqm). Schwabengitter® can be supplied ex stock and in large quantities. In most cases we are able to supply within 24 hours.

Schwabengitter® Ontop pavers can be laid in areas where loads have to be absorbed very simply and cost-effectively.
