Riding grounds for decades

Riding is a real challenge for a grass scar. This sport is caraterised by great loads and shearing forces. Each horse jumps and lands on the same two to three square meters. High sharp steal lugs tear into the grass scar as well as in equestrian or polo or horsetrack race.

In this field we have been working for more than 35 years as a specialised company for all sorts of riding grounds and the first constructor of riding grounds in Germany and have developed a very spezial grass mixture.

A dense root of Kentucky Bluegrass provides good shear capacity at ist ends and a broad, hard and stiff grass provides deep rooting, until depths of 1m depending on soil. However these grass combination needs a good water permeable grass main layer, if possible with lava as armor.

If these preconditions are fulfilled, this turf is very easy to handle as it grows slowly, endures dryness and semi shadow and can be trimmed exactly to certain event dates.
