The economical way to lay medium rolls.
We developed this simple and robust machine for laying 60-cm medium rolls. It enables a team of three men to lay up to 1,000 square metres of turf per day without undue effort. We have been using the machine for years within our own company and it has proved itself to be extremely robust, easy to use and very economical. In short: this is the simplest turf-laying machine available. For some years now we have rented these machines to all customers who order our medium rolls, and the reports have invariably been favourable. We have therefore now decided to offer the machine for sale as well.
All sports field construction companies, groundsmen, greenkeepers and landscape gardeners who deal regularly with lawns can now either purchase a laying machine or rent it whenever they need to lay an area of turf.
When packed for transport the laying machine takes up no more space than a normal wire mesh crate. It has a transport frame which makes it stackable. Once it reaches the building site the wheels are adjusted back to the laying position and the machine is then ready for use. It can be used for transporting and laying 60-cm medium rolls. The laying machine has a hydraulic pump mechanism by means of which the turf roll can be lifted and transported to the laying site.
There the roll is positioned and then unrolled backwards. Another man uses a rake to position the turf strip next to the lawn which has already been laid. And that’s all there is to it.
In this manner, anyone can lay even large areas of grass both easily and economically.
